Group Classes at Mosaic!
MSA offers a unique variety of monthly classes! ❣️
At Mosaic we things do a bit differently than your standard Suzuki or Classically based studios. Instead of a weekly group class, we have designed one full week each month dedicated to only hosting Group Classes. Our adult group class meets twice a month.
why It works….
Playing in groups encourages people to continue playing music – quite possibly the most important thing of all.
We welcome students from outside of Mosaic to join us in our unique and fun, monthly Group Classes!
In Group playing we learn to listen to others while playing. People learn to follow a leader and be a leader.
We value the Group Class experience and the opportunity for learning as much as giving private lessons.
Sharing music, musical games and socializing keeps music from being something one always does alone. (*sad face!)
Our unique format
Group Class participation is required of all students enrolled at MSA (except adult students).
We have fun while we learn!
Group playing is key to musical development. Our Group Classes are customized for students of all ages and ability levels. Classes are taught by Academy teachers in their areas of expertise and interest. Small class sizes, similar ages and ability levels, as well as consistent classmates will help create the best possible environment for a successful group experience.

Our group classes are not closed! Anyone can sign up for our classes - join us!
During group class students learn from one another and explore music from all around the world.
This helps us understand different cultures and back grounds.
Class repertoire is varied, exciting & relevant.
Past class choices include Old-Time Fiddle, Bluegrass Fiddle, Mariachi, Cinema, Pop Orchestra, Chamber Music, Asian Folk Music, Songwriting, Electric Strings, Applicable Music Theory, Story Telling, Baroque Music, Soundtracks & our Senior Showcase Ensemble…..SO EXCITING! The list continues to grow!

How It works

MSA students can sign up for as many classes as they want at no extra cost. Yay!
Session 1: Oct-Jan
Session 2: Feb-May
CONCERTS in January & May
Attendance at Group Class is mandatory - we only meet once a month!
Group classes take a break during summer.
There are no private lessons during Group Class Week.
Students may change classes each session but not within a session.
Students are expected to come prepared for each class. Your private teacher will support the learning during lessons.
