Mosaic String Academy was founded by me, Kate O’Brien, in 2019, as an idea of creating a unique learning environment for violin, viola and cello.

I am lifelong player, classically trained, and I play a variety of genres professionally. Our instruments create music on every continent, from folk and fiddle to jazz to classical. At Mosaic, I am joined by my amazing co-teachers. We are all classically trained musicians who perform.

Mosaic teachers have hosted dozens of varieties of group classes for kids since we opened.
