Meet Teacher angela - violin & viola

Teacher Angela is as versatile in performing and teaching viola as she is the violin - a rare thing indeed!

Angela Leber has taught all levels of school orchestra for the last 10 years. She taught her first private violin student when she was just 14 and never stopped.  She loves teaching violin and viola!

As a violinist, Angela studied with Emma Rubenstein and Dr. Dallin Hansen at Brigham Young University- Idaho, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. While at BYU-I she played violin in the symphony, several chamber groups, and the Baroque Ensemble. Her love of baroque music helped her to found the Turquoise Trail Baroque Ensemble in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

She recently moved to Beaverton, Oregon and is already an active performer in the violin section of the Beaverton Symphony. She travels back to Arizona as a continuing valued violist with the Arizona Millennial Choir and Orchestras.

Angela is so happy to call the PNW as her new home. When she is not playing her violin/viola or teaching, Mrs. Leber loves reading and spending time with her husband and cat.
